The Mission of the conservation department: The Preus Museum is one of the important collecting institutions for photography in the world and the most important in Norway. The collection holds photographic images, objects and books from the earliest days of photography to the present day coming from almost all parts of the world. The conservation of this unique collection is one of the fundamental responsibilities of the Preus Museum.
