Preus museum has its own visitors' quay and is situated 300m from a public bathing place. The museum has a shop and a café and is equipped to receive the physically handicapped.

From the north: E18 to Rv310 Horten. Turn left onto Rv310 towards Karljohansvern, which lies 500m before Horten centre. The remainder of the route is signposted.
From the south: E18 to Rv310 Horten. Turn left onto Rv310 towards Karljohansvern, which lies 500m before Horten centre. The remainder of the route is signposted.
There is a large car park at the Kulturpark.

Horten

A ferry goes between Moss and Horten every 30 minutes in the daytime. See the homepage: Bast? Fossen
Ferry/car: Turn left from the quay. Follow the signs to Karljohansvern (3 minutes).
Ferry/on foot: Turn left from the quay. Follow the signs to Karljohansvern. It takes roughly 15 minutes to walk to the Kulturpark.

Holmestrand/Skoppum

Take the Vestfold train to Holmestrand station, then bus to Horten centre. Or take the Vestfold train to Skoppum station, then bus or taxi to Horten centre. It is advisable to check bus times in advance. Follow the signs to Karljohansvern (10 minutes).
